Homestead RV Community employs “Dynamic Pricing” exactly like a hotel or airline, making a reservation to arrive when the occupancy rate is lower means the rate will be lower. If you are one of the first to make a reservation for a period, the rate will be lower – even though the rate for guests who wait will increase as the occupancy rate increases. This encourages guests to make their reservation earlier. Once you make a reservation your rate will not change for the duration of your reservation. Call (251) 973-2484 with the date you would like to arrive and depart, and we are happy to assist you make a reservation. If you prefer to make your own reservation, click here and you will be directed to the reservation software.
Notice daily pricing is more expensive than weekly and weekly is more expensive than monthly. If you make a reservation from the 5th of a month until the 3rd of another month it may be more expensive than making the reservation from the 5th of a month to the 5th of another month. Three weeks and five days is more expensive than one month. If you make a reservation for a term less than a month you will be required to pay for the entire duration of your stay. This is your deposit holding you a site – not necessarily a specific site – for the time you wish to stay.
Sometimes the specific site you reserved is damaged or otherwise not available for the time you reserved. Homestead RV Community staff maintain the ability to change your site to one of equal or greater value at NO EXTRA CHARGE to you.
Notice if you make a reservation for a month or longer, you will be required to pay the first half of your first month’s rent. The first half of the first month’s rent is your deposit holding you a site – not necessarily a specific site – for the time you wish to stay. On the date you are scheduled to arrive you will be charged the balance for the second half of the first month’s rent. When making a reservation for a month or longer, only the first half of the first month’s rent is taken as a deposit. If you would like to pay for your entire stay in advance please call (251) 973-2484 and allow our staff to assist you. The second half of the first month’s rent will be automatically taken from your credit card on your scheduled arrival date. You may choose to physically arrive later, and Homestead RV Community will hold a site for you and charge you as we are unable to rent that site to anyone else even if you have not yet arrived. For reservations longer than one month, the scheduled arrival date is the reoccurring date and each month on the same day your monthly rent will be taken from your credit card. On your scheduled arrival date, the electric meter is automatically read.
Your electric meter will be automatically read each month and when you depart – even if your stay was only one day. The amount of electricity you used during your stay will be calculated. Homestead RV Community is not attempting to nickel-&-dime people who use the average amount of electricity which is 20 KwHs per day. Homestead RV Community provides everyone with up to 25 KwHs per day. If your reservation is for four (4) days, you will be provided up to 100 KwHs of electricity. If you use 125 KwHs of electricity during your four (4) day reservation you will be charged an additional $5.00 ($0.20 per KwH) when you depart. If you exceed the allotted 25 KwH average per day, you will be charged for the excess at $0.20 a KwH. On the anniversary of your arrival date each month the electricity meter will be automatically read and the amount of electricity you used will be compared to the allotted amount. Any electricity used the previous month that exceeds the 25 KwH per day allotment will be charged $0.20 per KwH in addition to next month’s rent.
